| I feel that animals are part of the essence of nature's beauty.
They are a refreshing reminder of all that is innocent... |
Like many
watercolor artists, my
animal art prints and
animal watercolor paintings are a reflection of my passion for animals, and I hope that my passion comes through in the
art
prints and
watercolor paintings I have for sale. My
watercolor art primarily consists of
animal paintings such as
pig art,
rat drawings,
black cat art,
dog art,
farm animal art,
sheep art,
goat art,
horse art, and
more. Besides my
cat art and cat décor, I also have
dog art and dog prints for sale,
duck prints,
chicken prints,
farm art prints,
sheep paintings,
horse art prints and
wildlife art prints. And not only animal paintings…I also have
watercolor flower prints painted from the bounty of flowers in my garden, watercolor
outdoor art prints like landscapes, and small watercolor art prints.
Each painting and print has been created in watercolor. Many
watercolor artists paint watercolor pictures and sell watercolor prints because watercolors have a light, carefree beauty.
My
watercolor art designs are available for purchase on many different products --shirts, note cards, calendars, mugs, magnets, buttons, pillows, even boxer shorts and thongs! My small watercolor art prints, 5x7 in size, and 8x10 prints are reproduced on 100% recycled paper. I also have prints of my watercolor pictures in an 11x14 size. My art prints for sale are so reasonably priced that, even though they are high-quality art prints, many people consider them discount art prints.
There are many
animal rights groups who share my passion for animals, some of which are listed in my "Links" section. In an effort to support the wonderful and selfless work they do, I contribute 10% of profits to these groups. I began focusing on creating
watercolor paintings of farm animals in September 2001 -- I made a lifestyle change as a personal contribution to end animal suffering by consuming plant foods instead of meat and other animal products and by choosing alternatives to using animal products or by-products. My rapid evolution occurred after viewing the compelling video The Witness and thereafter immersing myself in reading an abundance of literature about factory farming.
There was no turning back.
Next came experimenting with different vegan recipes to insure an arsenal of good and nutritious meals and attending animal rights conferences to educate myself further.
And then my watercolor paintings found their direction, and AnimalArt was created.
It is my hope that when people view the beauty and spirit of animals through my art, they will feel compassion and their compassion may lead them to vegetarianism, animal activism, and/or animal advocacy.
Please check the website frequently; I continue to paint away, and there are often new animal watercolor paintings, prints and art for sale!
Thank you for the privilege of showing you my animal art and my message. I hope you enjoy viewing my watercolor animal art paintings and prints as much as I enjoy creating it.
